Atlanta City Council member Kelsea Bond voted against the city’s budget, saying lawmakers were rushed through an “undemocratic” process with limited time, vague numbers and key documents delivered the morning of the vote. Bond also blasted a budget that sends more than a third of city spending toward policing and related costs while cutting planning, transportation and parks.
