On Sunday, the pews of Atlanta’s historic Beulah Missionary Baptist Church became the backdrop for a classic Southern political tradition: a candidate connecting faith to the ballot box. Speaking to congregants, Sen. Jon Ossoff used the pulpit to launch a direct critique against Donald Trump and Rep. Mike Collins, hammering them on election denial, the Jan. 6 Capitol attack as well as voting rights restrictions and proposed healthcare cuts.
