The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act became law Saturday, including two provisions written by Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.): a cap on how many homes private equity firms can own; and the Appraisal Modernization Act, which aims to curb discrimination in the home appraisal process.
