Sen. Jon Ossoff criticized the Trump administration over conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln after families reported that multiple sailors had tried to jump overboard during the carrier’s extended Middle East deployment. The roughly 5,000 sailors and Marines aboard have been deployed for more than eight months, with reports describing deteriorating mental health, plumbing problems, supply shortages and extremely limited time on land.
