After a visit to the ICE Stewart Detention Facility in Lumpkin, Ga., this week, lawmakers expressed serious concerns over the conditions of people detained inside. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), who led one delegation, said the facility needs to be shut down. Stewart is known as the deadliest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility.
