Everton Blair, the first Black openly gay member of Congress from the South, has officially been sworn in to represent Georgia’s 13th Congressional District. In a speech during his swearing-in, Blair promised to prioritize making life more affordable for Georgians and to uplift the voices of Black Americans in his district.
